Night for the Nations
This coming Tuesday the 27th the team will be sharing testimonies and stories from their trip at Night for the Nations. It will be at 7 pm on the Carpinteria campus. Please come! Also, please pray for the team as they continue to debrief and prepare to share.
More prayer please
Many of us will return to work this week, some will go back today! Please continue to pray for us to make a smooth transition into life back home this week. Here are some ways you can pray:
- no one gets sick! Also grace with jetlag
- we all keep good habits in the word and in prayer
- we are kept from sin and indulging the flesh
- we take time to continue to reflect on what we learned and...
Landed in LAX safe and sound. Praise God!
Headed to airport!
Reflections on God working through the team:
Last night the team finished our first debriefing session. It included nearly three hours of sharing, prayer and journaling! The focus of the session was acknowledging what God did through the team as a whole and recognizing the gifts of others. This morning the team shared our responses to one of the questions we journaled…. To God’s glory, the following are just some of the purposes...
We want you sharp like a razor blade and not like a dull spoon.
– Matt (encouraging the team to reflect on how the Lord is refining them)
Debriefing
We are having a blast in Bangkok! We are in a tower hotel overlooking the city. Last night we had dinner in town at the Hard Rock cafe. We are spending a lot of time resting, sharing with one another, praying, debriefing and having dance parties. We planned to do our stop over in Singapore but our flight to Bangkok was cancelled and then postponed one day. We are so excited about how God changed...
saying goodbye
This is our last morning at Baan Farm. We just sent the kids to school and are packing our bags. We leave on Thai Airways at 10:20 am to Bangkok. Still a lot more to share with all you who are praying. Please pray for…

Morning with staff (told by Jess)
Last night we each prepared verses for individual staff members for their weekly meeting. For the second day in a row we got to worship with the staff! Pinoo led worship in Thai and we sang along in English. What a sweet blessing of the Lord! I am reminded of this scripture which says
Phillipians 2:10
That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth,...
It’s all just zeros and ones, man.

David punched Danny using his “fists of fury” while playing soccer bringing Danny to his knees.

Saturday in the rice fields (written by Geoff)
Today, we were planning on doing a medical outreach in Hewey Lou. Last night the village chief said we could go into the village and pass out supplies. This morning, the chief came up to where we were staying and told us that there was nobody in the village because they were all in the rice paddies planting rice. The chief told us that the village people (unassociated with those guys who sang...
At the school the team joined with the children at Baan Immanuel to put on a Gospel presentation to about 400 students. Our team put on two skits and David shared his testimony. The children at Baan Immanuel put on songs, dancing and a dramatic skit while pi Nu presented the Gospel. While both David and Pi Nu shared there was an obvious stir in the students attention. The team continued to pray...
Ministering freedom and love at the school...
Last Thursday we so clearly saw Gods sovereignty and miracles. The day started out with the team recognizing a similar heaviness and trouble focusing in the word. We spent the morning praising the lord, rebuking the enemy ,and taking spiritual authority . The team went to a tribal school near Huey Lou to participate in a outreach. When the team arrived we spent some time exploring the school,...
Thai teams first Adventure
We are leaving right now for three days of outreach in Lahu villages. Tomorrow we are at a school the next day we are doing medical outreach and Sunday wew are doing a church serve. Please pray for us. Since we arrived a few hours ago some of the team has been hit with sickness. We just had a time of prayer and are loading up the trucks. Pray for fruitfulness, and for the team to be in prayer,...
Another divine appointment (written by Caleb)
So as all of you know it’s been a wild few days for us as a team. On our second flight from Taipei, Taiwan to Bangkok, it became totally obvious to me why the Lord allowed us to be on a different airline and on a different day. Since the airlines scrambled to get us in the air asap they separated the team all throughout the plane, which meant that we got to sit next to total strangers for...
When we came through security in Taipei a sign over a small bin read, “Deposit all dangerous items here.”
Danny Jacks’s response: How am I going to fit in there?
A divine appointment (written by Bethany)
On our flight to Taipei (finally flying!!), the Lord opened up a neat conversation between me and the man sitting next to me. We had exchanged a few words at the beginning of the flight, but it wasn’t until I had been reading my Bible for a while that we really began to talk. I noticed him peering over my shoulder, so taking out my earphones I asked him if he had ever read the Bible....
Arrived Safe
We just arrived safe and sound at Baan Farm in Chiang Rai. It has been an adventure! We will report more soon.
New flight
We are about to board EVA flight BR 0011 from LAX to Taipei departing at 5:10
From Taipei we fly to Bangkok and arrive at 1 am. We will stay in a hotel or in the airport then fly out on our Thai Air flight to chiang rai the next day. Our bags are still checked to chiang rai so we will be without our bags and clothes for four days but the team really doesn’t mind. It’s an adventure.
Thank you for praying!
A new plan! What a surprise, people must be praying. We just got offered a flight on Eva Air which takes off at 5. We are scrambling to the airport. We will post new flight info after we check in. Don’t stop praying :)
Cancelled
Our flight was cancelled again. They are saying same time tomorrow. We are feeling opposition for our trip. Please pray with us Christ’s authority and favor for this trip.
